We have no idea what possessed us to turn sour key candy into a hot sauce, but here we are. The Sour Key 5¢ Candy Hot Sauce is a strange yet oddly satisfying mix of tart, tangy candy flavour with a kick of habanero heat. It’s like taking a bite of your favourite sour candy and then… surprise, it’s spicy.

Desserts, drinks, savoury dishes—who knows what this sauce pairs with? (We don’t!) Try it on lemon bars, in a margarita, or even as a zesty glaze for grilled chicken. The real fun comes from experimenting. Sour Key 5¢ Candy Hot Sauce is for those who love to push the boundaries of flavour… and maybe raise a few eyebrows at the dinner table.

Give it a boost

The flavour is nice but in my opinion it would be nicer with more heat. In fact I just squirted a little on my palm to taste and remind me of the flavour, and I'm basically not getting any heat. I can fix that with a shot of some other stuff that I have that is nothing but heat, but it should already be
in the bottle.
