I bought this hot sauce to give a whirl and to see if it went to save me one little step in my cooking. I like to make a mac and cheese with peas that has honey and hot sauce drizzle on it but I thought a honeyed hot sauce would save me that one extra step. It is very tasty and I have been using it as planned but it is not my favorite honey, so I am giving it 4 stars. Over the last couple of years I have tried quite a few different varieties of honeys so I am very picky on that front - it is amazing how different they can taste depending on what kind of pollen the beans have been collecting. I find that this one tasted a bit... Sharp, maybe? Combined with the mild heat.
I’m not a big one for hot sauces but these are great.
